Here we will discuss the various upgrade processes available to you.
Before you choose to upgrade, a word of warning. Jomres Core is free, and you would normally upgrade through the
upgrades feature so this is a very easy process, however be aware that it's common for plugins to also need to be upgraded at the same time (you'd do this afterwards through the
Jomres plugin manager).
If you have a valid download and support license then this will not pose any problems for you, however if your Silver license has expired and you've upgraded Jomres you will not be able to upgrade any plugins, potentially rendering your installation of Jomres unusable. If this is the case, you have two choices :

Restore your installation to a previous version using a tool like
Akeeba backup (you did make a backup before upgrading, didn't you?)

Decide that you want to use the new version of Jomres and upgrade the plugins. To do this, you will need a valid license. Usually the most cost effective way of doing this is by purchasing
a renewal license.
