Currency Conversion/Currency codes

Jomres includes functionality that allows it to download, once a day, exchange rate information from Yahoo. Approximately 130 currencies are supported by this service. This allows Jomres to output prices in currencies other than that set by the property's manager (except for those rare instances where the exchange rate isn't available). This is all done automatically so there is no need for the site manager to maintain the exchange rates.

Jomres also has the ability to use a service called IPinfoDB. This service allows us to pass the IP number of a site visitor and from that determine their likely location geographically speaking. Once we know that, then we can guess the most appropriate currency to convert property's prices to. If you have a Jomres Developer license then you can install the exchange_rate_conversion_selector which allows site visitors to choose another currency.

Use global currency?
Set this to yes to force all businesses to use the same currency
Currency code

This is a dropdown list of all currency codes that are supported by Jomres.
Use conversion functionaity
Use the Jomres online conversion functionality. This will offer a conversion dropdown to frontend users, where they will be able to choose a currency that they wish to see prices offered in. Price output is adjusted to show the converted price followed by the property's 'native' price in brackets. Use Jomres_asamodule to position the plugin's dropdown.
IP Detection API Key
To automatically set the currency code dropdown Jomres is able to use a free service called IPinfoDB to detect the visitor's country, however you need to register for an API key at IPinfoDB first.
