Control Panel - Room types

The Global Room type feature allows you to create, edit and delete Room Types. It is advisable that when you set your system up you set up room types for multi room properties, and if you will be listing SRPs too that you create some room types for them: eg. '3 bedroom villa', '4 bedroom cottage' etc.

On installation, if the /images/stories/jomres/rmtypes directory is writable then Jomres will attempt to create Room/Property types for you and install the relevant images. If it can't, you may need to create it yourself and copy the supplied icons from the /components/com_jomres/images/icons folder.

You can upload new room type images to the /images/stories/jomres/rmtypes folder.

As of 2.7 room types can now be defined as SRP only or not. This means that you must create at least one room type for each SRP and MRP (EG D/B and Villa). This allows us to list only those room types that are pertinent to the property type (SRP or MRP) in Normal Mode Property Admin.
