Subscriptions

Jomres offers the ability to charge property managers subscriptions.

Once you have enabled the subscription handling features in the ROI tab you will see two new buttons :

All subscription payments are managed by paypal, so you'll need to configure your paypal settings, if you haven't already.

Subscription packages work on the principle that a manager can have N number of published properties on their system. The reasoning behind this is simple. If their subscription is cancelled at any point, either deliberately or in error, it is easier to unpublish their property than to delete it and then expect them to re-create it again if they want to renew their subscription.

Managers can subscribe to multiple packages, if they wish. They can subscribe to one "free" package, however they cannot subscribe to it twice, so we recommend that you use this package as a teaser to encourage managers to use your site.

With the subscription functionality enabled in the ROI tab, when a non-super property manager tries to create a new property, if their number of current published properties equals the number published properties they are allowed, then they will need a new subscription. If they don't have a subscription they will need to apply for one.

When a manager subscribes they will need to re-enter their address details. This is because we cannot assume that their property details are the same as their billing address when it comes to showing their invoice.

If a subscription is cancelled, then Jomres will unpublish a number of their properties to ensure that they don't have more properties published than they are allowed, and it will not allow them to re-publish their properties until they have an active subscription.
