The control panel looks something like this, depending on the plugins installed :
On the left are the basic categories, click on them to see the options available under those categories. In the middle Jomres will perform some checks to see if a few plugins are installed, what the newest version of Jomres is and check that essential directories can be written to. It will also warn if Joomla's cache feature is enabled (it shouldn't be) and if there's an issue with access control.
If a plugin adds a new button to the control panel, a link will be added to the categories listed. For example, the custom_global_strings plugin adds a new link under the "Languages" category.
If you'd like to translate the categories, you can do so via the
Label Editing feature.
In these categories some button will be disabled. These are for generally recommended plugins which will not be enabled until the plugin is installed.
