This option affects the images uploaded by property managers. ONLY .jpg images are supported by Jomres.
All images are resized by Jomres when they are uploaded, to prevent property managers hogging disk space, and because it's possible to insert malicious code into an image. If an image can't be resized, then it's possible that it contains malicious code and Jomres will not use that image.
Images are uploaded to the /jomres/uploadedimages directory, which is not affected during an upgrade therefore is upgrade safe.
Small thumbnails are used in the property list and slideshow areas, whereas medium images are used in the property/business header.
