Integrated Search Feature
The Jomres integrated search feature allows your users to search through Jomres businesses according to a set of functions. If you have already used the search features of Jomres in Joomla you will be familiar with these settings.
This feature allows us to offer search handling within Jomres for those users who don't want to use Joomla search modules, or for other CMS users who's CMS doesn't have it's own Jomres search modules.
Just remember that if you choose to search for something via a link (ie not a dropdown) then other search options will not be implemented, only the element that corresponds with the link that you clicked.
Note that by default the layout of this integrated search isn't very pretty. That's because the template file that performs the layout has to include all possible options, some of which are incompatible. To improve the layout and achieve the look you desire, you will need to edit search.html in the folder /jomres/templates/jomres/frontend
The select combo feature, as it's known, allows a user to select a country, then a region and finally a town/city to drill down to find properties in a city.

Activate this feature?
If this feature is enabled, then any call to Jomres that shows the business list will mean that the search options are also shown.
With exceptions : If the user's a property manager, then it is not shown. Likewise, if the user's already performed a search then the search options aren't shown again.
Use columns
Any search option that you have defined as link type (where pertinent) will be shown as columns (IE br put on the end of the link)
Search region by select combo dropdown
Offer a search dropdown to filter through countries/regions/towns. If you are going to use this feature then you're best off not using the region/town searches below.
Also note : You cannot have two instances of the select combo on a given page (i.e. in both the integrated search and a search module). This is because jquery needs to know the name of the input to populate
Search by business name
Show the search by business name input.
Note that if you set this option to Yes, then you will only ever see one search result (or two+, if you've got more than one property with the same name). This option should not be used in conjunction with any of the other options.
