First steps - MRP or SRP

Ok, you've seen the toolbar, now you'll understand when we start referring to certain buttons.

As a new property manager you probably want to click the New Booking button to take a look at your booking form and how you're going to start taking payments online but first we need to set your property up. We're going to take you through the basic steps you need to confgure to get you up and running, then you can explore the other options at a later time. A basic set up will probably not fit your requirements exactly first time around, but it will get you familiar with the important parts of the system. You can tweak things later.

First things first though, you need to hark back to the first question you were asked: Is your property an SPR or an MRP? Let's make sure you're set up correctly for your property type by clicking on General Configuration (option 22 in the toolbar), and wait a moment for it to load. Once it's loaded you'll see a whole bunch of tabs, you will need to click on the one marked SRPs.

When you do, the top option here will be "Is this an apartment/cottage/villa?". If your property is a cottage/villa/apartment then make sure this is set to Yes, if it's a hotel (ie an MRP) then set it to No. Click the Save icon on the top left.

Some more information about SRPs is here.

Now you'll learn a little about rooms and tariffs.
