General Configuration - SRPs

Settings that are typically used to configure booking functionality in Single Room Properties, although remember that whilst you may not have an SRP any options you change here may still affect how your property works.

  • Is this an apartment/cottage/villa? EG you are renting out a property, rather than rooms in that property. If this is the case, then you must make sure that you only have the one room registered against each property. 
  • Tariff charges stored as weekly figures? You have the option of storing tariff charges in either daily or weekly values. If storing them as weekly, you MUST set this option to Yes. 
  • Show only Availability calendar/Rooms list? Switch this to Yes to disable display of the property header and details, so that only the rooms list/availability calendar is viewable in the property details section. Only really intended for users renting out single room properties (eg apartments, cottages etc). 
  • Bookings are for a fixed period If you set this to Yes, then bookings will be taken for a fixed period. If this is set to No, then ensure that "defined arrival day" isn't set to Yes (unless you specifically want to force people to arrive on a certain day) otherwise you will not get many links in the availability calendar. 
  • Booking period: 
  • Maximum periods, eg 3x 7 booking periods = 21 days 
  • Fixed period bookings allow short breaks 
  • Length of short break 
  • Pre-defined arrival day Only for sites offering fixed period bookings. Choose the day that arrivals must begin on. 
  • Fixed arrival day Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday 
  • Fixed arrival dates recur: When fixed arrival dates are selected, the number dates that can be shown in the dates dropdown list
