This page deals with some of the settings you can change to modify information in the booking form.
Most of the options on this page are self explanatory, however we will point out a few of interest.
Rooms list style. In the booking form, when a guest has entered the particulars of their booking, they can then choose a room or rooms. In the 'classic' style, they will then be able to choose a particular room or rooms, whereas if you set this option to 'Room types' then they will instead a number of rooms of each type that they need. Which one of these two options you choose is down to your own personal preference.
Arr-Dep minimum interval. In the booking form, it is prefered that you specify a default minimum interval (number of days between the arrival and departure date). Depending on the tariffs found whilst checking dates, the booking system may adjust this minimum interval automatically, however a default is always preferable.
Available Rooms/Tariff limit. If you are using the 'Classic' rooms list, and you have many rooms, you will find yourself offering many choices of rooms to the potential guest. This option allows you to limit the number of rooms that are presented to the client. You, as a property manager will still see the full range of available rooms, but guests will only see a list that corresponds to the limit you choose here.
Bookings are for whole days? This option, new in 5.5.2, allows us to change slightly how the booking engine works. When it is set to No then when a guest chooses an arrival and departure date then the resource eventually booked out is booked for the days between those two dates, e.g. if the arrival date is set to the 1st of the month, and the departure is set to the 2nd, then the resource is only made unavailable for the 1st. If, however, you set this option to Yes, then the resource is unavailable on both the 1st and 2nd of the month. It also causes a lot of wording changes to take place within the system, for example in the booking form the Arrival date and Departure date labels are changed to Pickup and Drop off and phrases that previously said "per night" are changed to "per day".
