General description
This feature allows you to create
commission rates that you can use for various properties in your system. This is useful when you run a portal and want to charge property owners a fee for every booking they receive. You can have a different commission rate for each property. See List Properties|associating commission rates to properties]] for more details.
Usage
Click on the 'List commission rates' button in your Jomres control panel and you`ll be taken to a new screen. here you can see all commission rates currently defined. If you just installed Jomres, you`ll see here the default commission rate. Of course, you can add more commissions, each with a different value, and after that associate them with the desired properties.
Adding a new commission rate
Click on the 'New' button and you`ll be taken to a new screen where you can enter the details.

Enter a title for your new commission (spaces are allowed).

Set the commission type. If you want to charge a fixed fee no matter of the booking contract value, then select 'Flat'. If you want to charge a percentage of the booking contract value, then select 'Percentage'.

Enter the commission rate. This has to be a number and no other characters are allowed (like %).

Select the currency in which you charge the commission.
Editing an existing commission
To edit a commission rate, click on the edit icon associated with the commission you want to modify. You`ll be taken to a new screen where all the details of the commission are already filled in. Make the desired changes and don`t forget to hit the 'Save' button.
Deleting a commission
To delete a commission rate, you have to check the box associated with the commission you want to delete and hit the trash can button located above the list.
Final notes
If you don`t want to charge a commission rate, then all you have to do is delete all commission rates you have defined, or set a commission rate with a value of 0 and use that one for all properties in the system. Also, please remember that this feature works differently than subscriptions. The commission feature allows you to charge per bookings and not per listings.
