Joomla 1.6/1.7/2.5 introduced new methods of translating content, however many people have found that it's tricky to set up correctly. Joomfish is simpler, however at the time of writing a version for Joomla 2.5 is not available.

 

This plugin allows users to use the Jomres language switcher to switch the Joomla language (if that language is installed on Joomla).
