ajax_search_asamodule

Requires the ajax_search plugin and the jomres_asamodule plugin, ergo this is a Joomla only feature.

This module allows you to have a module in a (for example) left module position, which is a ajax driven and allows you to filter through several different criteria. At the time of writing those criteria are "By number of stars", "By price range" and "By feature".

Use the plugin manager to install the required plugins and this one. Now you can go to your Joomla module manager and create a new module. On the next page, choose "Jomres AsAModule" and on the page after that set a title, and in the "task" field on the right hand side enter "ajax_search_asamodule". Leave the "arguments" field blank.

Now comes the slightly tricky part, which is why we've created the Jomres Joomla template, which already has this html in place.

The ajax_search_asamodule needs a div with the id of "asamodule_search_results" that it can put the search results into when they're returned by the server. To achieve this you will need to install the "jomres_ajax_search_contentwrapper" mambot, and enable it (Joomla 2.5 only).
