Property Configuration - Booking Rooms

This tab, and/or some of the options may not be visible to you, it depends on how your Site Administrator has configured your options.

  1. Arr-Dep minimum interval The minimum interval in the booking form between the arrival date and the departure date.
  2. Days before arrival The minimum number of days that must elapse, from "today", before the arrival date.
  3. Guest type default Default number of first the first Guest type. If you use Guest Types, then this is the default number that the first Guest Type in the booking form will be set to.
  4. Show extras at booking time? Set this to yes to show any extras that you may wish to offer to the guest
  5. Show smoking option? Set this to yes to show the smoking option.
  6. Default smoking option Yes/No/Any
  7. Limit advance bookings? Set this to yes if you want to limit advance bookings (use the next field to set the limit in terms of days). If you do set this to yes then if the user tries to book more than n days in advance then their arrival date will be restored to today's date
  8. Days advanced bookings limited to: Set the number of days from 'today' that can be offered in a booking. If the date exceeds this period then the arrival date will be reset to the earliest possible arrival date.
  9. Show availability calendars? Set this to yes to show the availability calendars
 10. Show departure date input?Set this to No if you don't want to show the departure date input box. Only use this if you know what you're doing, as the departure date in bookings will always be set to the day after the arrival date.
 11. Available rooms/tariff limit Use this input to limit the number of available rooms & tariffs that are listed in the booking form. Set it to zero if you do not want limiting enabled.
