Jomres and tours

All of the following on this page can be ignored, as Jintour for Jomres is now available.
Jomres books out resources that are, by default, available (eg rooms. The rooms are not available when specifically booked eg by a guest), so it's ideal for anything that's normally available (and can be booked by the day). So, hotels, cars, boats, billboards all work fine.
Tours, on the other hand are not always available unless booked. I think of tours as events, so you have an event which can be repeated but isn't always available.
I do have people using Jomres for things like tours, but it's not specifically designed for tours so I don't like to recommend it for that. If you were (in Jomres-speak) to create a property (eg tour company) and a room and rename that to Tour you'd need to use the black booking feature to disable it for all the days it's not available. Whilst it can be done, it doesn't feel right to me so I don't push it as a feature of the system.
